Pressure vessel plates and sheets are specially produced for pressure usage with enhanced strength, hardness, and weldability. They have usual elements such as carbon, manganese, silicon, chromium, molybdenum, and nickel that enhance them to become harder and resilient to harsh conditions. Mechanical properties are high tensile strength (450-620 MPa), yield strength (≥240 MPa), good impact resistance, and good elongation for formability. They satisfy specifications such as ASTM A516, EN 10028, and ASME SA516, which provide the control boiler, storage tank, and heat exchanger with reliability. They exhibit high mechanical performance and are hence used in high-critical pressure applications.
